Pengaruh Disiplin Belajar dan Manajemen Waktu terhadap Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa KIP Kuliah di Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang

This study aims to analyze the effect of study discipline (X1) and time management (X2) on academic achievement (Y) of KIP Kuliah students at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with Slovin formula calculation, resulting in a total sample of 259 respondents. Data were collected through Google Forms-based questionnaires distributed to active KIP Kuliah students who already had a recorded Grade Point Average (GPA) in the student affairs department. The data analysis technique employed multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 27. The results show that study discipline has a positive and significant effect on academic achievement, as indicated by a t-value of 23.460 > 1.969 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, time management has a positive and significant effect on academic achievement, as indicated by a t-value of 26.379 > 1.969 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, and study discipline and time management simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on academic achievement, as indicated by an F-value of 593.958 > 3.878 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The correlation test result shows an R value of 0.907, indicating a very strong and positive relationship between study discipline and time management on academic achievement. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.823 or 82.3% indicates that academic achievement can be explained by study discipline and time management, while the remaining 17.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
